PGA Professional Eric MacCluen began teaching at Delcastle Golf Course in 1989, and in 1994 became the Director of Instruction at Hartefeld National Golf Club until 2000 when he started the Eric MacCluen Golf Academy with the intention of making golf accessible to everyone in the Delaware Valley. Eric’s love for the game motivates him to not only refine the techniques of highly skilled players, but also to teach proper basics to beginners. His ongoing commitment to juniors has brought approximately 100 college scholarships as well as many national tournament wins. In addition, his numerous clinics and camps have allowed children as young as 4 years old to have fun as they are taught new skills. Eric has been a PGA member since 1994. Among his achievements, Eric was an All American at Greensboro College, a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Golf Leader in 1998, received the D.S.G.A Annual Award in 1999, and was the Philadelphia Section Teacher of the Year in 2002. Eric has also been awarded the Top 50 Kids teacher from 2004 thru 2007 by US kids Golf. In 2008, he was awarded the Top 50 Master Teacher Award. Check out this Сanadian online casino by Maple Leaf! Eric currently resides in the Applecross Community in Downingtown, PA with his wife Holly, their son Eric, and his two step sons Ryan and Liam.
Eric is proud to announce, in January of 2011, he joined Applecross Country Club in Downingtown, PA as their new Director of Instruction. “Along with the Applecross team I am excited to be taking the first steps towards becoming the premier private facility for golf instruction in the area!”
